Black Friday

On Friday,
some of us did a bit of shopping (GIRLS)
some of us went out riding (BOYS)
but ALL of us devoured
a 2nd Thanksgiving dinner!!

Unfortunately he didn't look at this one
before I put it on his head. lol

Well at least the kids loved their hats.

after a HUGE feast!

I remembered one thing better.

Post Thanksgiving

As soon as we got home from Thanksgiving dinner,
up went the massive Christmas Tree!

Taylee was a tad worried when Anden lovingly told her he was locking her in!

Then she realized huge boxes are a TON of fun!

The kids woke up Thanksgiving morning completely excited! They remembered that Papa Nolie, Wynzee (Lyndsay) and Aaron arrived while they were sleeping. And they didn't waste a minute running into their rooms and pouncing on them!! Let the weekend festivities begin!

Then we played, watched football and hung around most of the day.
Thanksgiving dinner wasn't until 3:30pm this year.
We were definitely ready to gorge ourselves by then!!

Anthem Christmas Tree

Is it really that time of year?!
Yep! Sure is!

Saturday was the annual
Anthem Christmas Tree Lighting!

We LOVE this event!
It was quite the party!
Great music, tons of people, tons of excitement!
(and did I mention it's free?! double bonus)

Soccer Game #4

This was the game of
INJURIES.

Seriously,
that's how substitutions were determined.

A player goes down crying
or bleeding
and the next player gets sent in
to their doom.

Anden's injury free pass
finally expired.

He crashed into another player
and came running right to us
holding his mouth.
When he moved his hands,
blood was running everywhere.

I was like his personal trainer,
quickly stopped the bleeding,
bandaged him up,
sent him back onto the field.

At least Grace is always there to help him!

Um, has he been spending too much time with dogs?

And she walked around with her water bottle between her legs the whole game.
