Labor Day Weekend Kick Off

Kick off Labor Day Weekend!

I had a very few rare minutes of peace...

And then one by one they started to find me! lol

Oh well.

It's more entertaining watching these crazies in action anyway!

I'll let you guess how well this one ended!!

OUCH!

Finished the day with some delicious Bahama Bucks!

Only the littles came with us.

So we rubbed it in to the big kids.

Maybe next time they won't ditch us! ;)

Eastlie's Animal Instincts

Date: Aug 29th

All was going great today.

Things took a turn when I was putting Eastlie to bed.

If you recall,  yes she's still in a crib...in a crib tent!!

She's an escape artist and we had to take drastic measures 

to salvage her sleep,

our sleep 

and our sanity!!

Well today as I went through the 38 routines of things she wants,

I gave her the final kiss and zipped up the tent!

However this happened!!

I tried to play it off like the freaking zipper handle didn't just come off in my hand.

And I quietly walked out like nothing happened.

I immediately texted Ryan that my life would soon be over and sent him that picture!

I ran downstairs into my bedroom to get the video monitor to see if she had figured

out that the crib tent wasn't fully zipped up and secured.

As I was grabbing the monitor I heard a little snicker behind me.

O.M.G.

Literally it hadn't even been 3 minutes since I left her room!!

Does she check every single time I leave to see if she can pry that zipper open?!

Well she hit the jackpot today!

I drug her back upstairs and put her back in bed.

I pleaded and begged and threatened for her to stay in the crib and take her nap.

Well by the time I ran downstairs to check the monitor,

yep she was already crawling back out.

This scenario happened 3 more times.

I was losing my marbles.

Finally she stayed in her crib and laid there quietly.

Sweet I won.

So I stopped watching the monitor and started picking up the house instead.

10 mins later it was still silent so I checked he monitor.

It was a carnivorous crime scene!!

She literally picked the seams and tore apart her unicorn stuffed animal!!

Needless to say right then and there I ordered a new crib tent from Amazon!!

No way I can live like this for longer than 2 day delivery!!

I mean c'mon the $80 is for everyone's safety.

Like who else might she attack during "nap time" if she did this to her beloved unicorn!! lol ugh

Update....

Day 2 of broken zipper on the crib tent.

Ryan came up with this contraption.

She still busted out of it and came down 3 times that night to our room!

Oh dear please Amazon save me!!

Tomorrow is the day!

The new tent arrives

I hope I can make it that much longer!!

Anden's a TEENAGER!!

Date: Aug 28th

How is it even possible

that my firstborn is officially a
TEENAGER!!!

We celebrated him in big fashion

A little wake up birthday love from your littlest sisters!

He wanted his favorite Orange Rolls for breakfast

And of course the girls wanted to sing to him yet again!

Never too old for birthday streamers!

Present time before school!

Ryan had an early morning meeting he couldn't reschedule.

So Facetime for the win that he could still watch the present opening!

Then we walked the kids off to school.

One last pic with the birthday boy....wearing Laiky's backpack! lol

Per tradition, Eastlie and I picked him up from school for a birthday lunch of his choice.

We headed to Barros Pizza!

After school we had the usual Rainbow Chip Birthday Cake

and surprise...more singing! lol

Anden's catching on me in height!

It's the weirdest thing to have your children almost as tall as you!

I figured this might be his last birthday that I'm taller

so I better document it!!

Nice tippy toes terd!

Now flat foot back to back!

 But don't be fooled Mr. Teenager...I can still take you down!

Well ok so it's a struggle but I think I could still win! haha

Then everyone departed for sports for the rest of the evening.

We had his birthday dinner 

the previous night since we knew it was our only night with everyone together!

And no Laiklyn doesn't have enormously huge feet.

We got to the restaurant and realized she didn't bring any shoes!

(seriously how does this happen?!)

Luckily I had an extra pair of gym shoes in the trunk.

So yep that's what she wore! haha

Happy Birthday to the one that made me a Mommy!

I can't even believe how fast 13 years has flown by!!

 We sure love you Anden!!

Phoenix Rising North Valley Soccer Kick Off

Date: Aug 24th

Taylee had her soccer club kick off event tonight!

They had a lot of fun at all the different stations!

Then ended the night walking the red carpet!

And team pictures!

They they treated all the players and families to a free sno cone

at the sno cone food truck! mmm mmm

Taylee is SO excited to kick off this season!

She has a new coach, many new teammates and big goals for herself!

I can't wait to watch her meet those goals!
