MacDonald Ranch Pumpkin Patch

Date: Oct 30th

Well we barely fit it in this year,
but hey at least we finally made it.
We did have to make 3 of the kids miss their sports practices
(of which Ryan coaches 2 of those!)
but that's just what you have to do for a little family outing!

MacDonald Ranch 2017

First we hit up the petting zoo.
Oh how my 3rd child just loves loves loves animals!
(and oh how we'll never own one! lol)

"Mommy those little guys are just chillin'!"

"I'll wake them up!"

Luckily Anden shares her love for animals too.
So those two had the best time.

The goats were so loud.
Then they started yelling Anden's name!
No joke!
We about fell over laughing!
"AAAANNNNDDDEEEENNN!"

"Hey buddy, what's your name?!"

"Hellllo Mister"

"Hey he has bug in his nose!"

"And huge ears!"

Eastlie wanted so badly to walk around but we're mean and wouldn't let her.
First I didn't want her eaten or sat on by an animal.
Second, I didn't want her baby Uggs destroyed. lol priorities

"Mommy this one is Joey! He has four ears!"
(yes I did correct her that 2 of those ears are horns!)

Taylee wasn't feeling the petting zoo this year.
But at least she liked the chickens...probably because they were caged!
lol now that's more like me.

"Mommy why is Joey's head in that bum?!"

She begged to see the piggies.
I figured it's time for her to realize that "piggies" in real life are so ugly and gross
not at all like they look in cartoons! lol ewh

Good thing the pigs wanted nothing to do with anyone
and just laid there pretending to be asleep so Laiklyn would leave them alone!

On to the farm games

Gold Panning

Pumpkin Hockey

I was a tad leary letting these two play alone.
They are SO competitive with each other!

Anden wasn't the sweetest brother when Taylee stole the pumpkin puck
and scored on him!

That's when he busted out the cheap shots like always.
I believe kicking the pumpkin puck isn't allowed. hhmmm

So he moved on to flex his muscles elsewhere!

Next up the Pedal Cart Track

Yes they did have mini size carts for the toddlers to use.
But nope Laiky jumped right on the big one and kept right up.
I guess that's one bonus of being as tall as a 5 year old! lol

Eastlie and I waited at the hay maze for the racers to finish.
Yep I even let her down on the ground too! lol

I promise that's a pretzel she's eating and not the hay.
But any other day I might not be so sure what's she eating.
4th child problems I tell ya!

Waiting to ride the tractor train out to the pumpkins

Poor Eastlie hates leaving my side.
She's definitely become a Mommy's girl.
These tears were that Daddy held her for the picture! lol
But what do you don't see in this picture is Anden and Taylee separated for
fighting and also in tears too.
You just can't make everyone happy! lol

All I ever want is one decent family pic on each of our adventures.
The big kids were actually my naughty ones on this trip
but everyone faked it nicely that we're happy for this picture! lol

Judging by the pictures,
Anden definitely loved this family outing the best!

Taylee at least snapped out of her mood and was much happier! :)

Laiklyn was just loving she wasn't the difficult child for once! haha

Hello my little pumpkin!

And oh what a difference a year makes!!
This was Eastlie last year at this same place! :)

We fit in as much as we could before the sun set and we were booted out of there.
Of course we had to pose for pics at the welcome sign on our way out!

I didn't realize until later when I downloaded the pics what Anden's pose looked like.
Well that pretty much summed up how he felt about this trip! lol terd
