Temple Sealing

Date: Mar 26th

We've been waiting for this day for a very long time!

And it finally happened!!

We were sealed as a family for time and all eternity

in the Phoenix, Arizona Temple.

It was a beautiful day and everything went great!
We had lots of love from family and friends.
The kids did awesome during the ceremony.
And I even ran into one of my long time besties that I hadn't seen in years
as we were walking out!
All around it was a humbling moment
of realizing things really do work out in the time they should!

It was a busy Easter weekend and all our friends had to immediately leave after the ceremony.
But we were able to get a picture of our family that came!

Laiklyn was done being quiet!

She was tired and hungry

as were Anden and Taylee too!

So we just took a couple more pictures then headed to the luncheon.

Go figure Laiklyn's only smiling moment was when she got busted

playing with Anden's mohawk! lol

Then we all headed to Olive Garden for lunch.

Ryan's Dad, Mom and Sister joined us there!

I snapped a couple of pics while people were arriving.

But of course it was too chaotic later to get a group picture.

Overall it was an absolutely amazing day!

Thank you all so much for making the effort to come support and celebrate our little family!

It truly meant a ton to us to have you there.

Spring Break

Date: Mar 21-24th

Spring break was a little later this year for us.

But it was awesome that it led right up to Easter weekend!

We had a million projects going on prior to my family arriving for Easter.

But we set things aside and made time to play too!

Day 1: Hanging with friends and swimming!

Yes I'm insane to take 5 kids to the pool!

This was Laiklyn's first time at the pool this year.

Let's just say she wanted NOTHING to do with it!

Which hey that's easier for me! lol

So we stayed on the dry land and threw toys to the big kids.

Poor kiddo has had a nasty cold.

So it really is a good thing she didn't want to be in the water.

I need her healthy before the family get in town!!

Day 2: Castles & Coasters

The previous day both our house and the Hills house

made the kids do extra chores to earn their admission to Castles & Coasters.

Funny how motivated and cheery they are to do chores

when the reward is immediate! lol

Ryan took off work too this day and played the morning with us.

He bolted at lunch to take Laiklyn home to nap and continue working on the pavers!

(a whole other post about the awful paver project coming later! lol)

It wouldn't be an event without one pic of ticked off Laiklyn.

We made the mistake of pulling her away from Diver Dan.

Once we put her down she was back to contentment! lol stinker

Ryan and Laiklyn left to head home to naps about this time.

While the big kids and I headed to the main ride park that had finally opened for the day!

These nuts ran straight to the log ride

and rode that thing again and again and again!

They were soaked but loving it! lol

Finally they moved on to other rides

And back to the log ride! lol they couldn't resist it!

At this point we took a break to eat lunch and let them dry off!

Then it was back to nonstop rides!

Taylee is beyond brave and went on the drop your guts out from 4 stories high ride!

 Which meant Anden had to prove he was as brave as his little sister!

Needless to say by Day 3 of Spring Break I was worn out!!

So I went to work that day to relax! ;)

Then Day 4 and 5 were back to playing with friends

and then Furniss family that had finally arrived!!
