Lyndsay's Baby Shower

YES, YES
one of my sisters is finally having a
BABY!!!

Baby Girl to be exact!
Set to join the clan March 11th!

So I headed to Vegas this weekend
to help throw Lyndsay a Baby Shower.
Even my Mom made it from Idaho!
We had so much fun!

And yes, there were even humans there too!

Lyndsay and Sara
Her best friend for the past 10 years!
(And thank you Sara for letting us bombard your beautiful home!)

Game Time

Present Time

And yes, you can barely tell she's pregnant!
And she's 34 wks.
So I took some side shots to prove she REALLY is having a baby!

Then later we captured some more pics to prove we were all actually together!
(ahh if only Brookie could have been there too!)

Now let's get this baby here!
I'm tired of answering Taylee every other day,
"Mommy is Lyndsay's baby out of her tummy yet so we can play?"

Playful Afternoons

This is the epitome of pure carefree joy!

There was a slight breeze on Tuesday afternoon.
So we walked over
(correction: I walked, Anden drove his quad, Taylee rode her bike)
to the the grassy park to fly kites.
And of course the breeze disappeared once we began.
So we ran our little legs off creating our own breeze.

10 minutes into it
Anden looks at me and furls his nonexistant eyebrows
"Mommy why are we running when I can just pull it behind my quad??!"

Well I was stumped.
He had a brilliant point! lol

The other park goers then gawked at my "lazy children" flying kites!
Really, they were just jealous they didn't think of it first.

Zoo Times

On Monday afternoon we went to

It was our neighbor Bryndal's birthday event
and luckily we were invited along!

First up, the monkeys.
Real ones this time, not the kids.

Then on to the reptiles.
My LEAST fave part.

This one was ultra comforting.
No cage, no glass.
He could just slither right out and strangle us.

The albino python

Anden smartly teasing it.
Um ya I'm sure I know who would win that one.

The Kangaroo exhibit.
You just walked around inside with them.
One jumped like 3 ft away from me!
(and yes I snatched my camera while it was on the wrong settings!)

Next we moved on to the Giraffe exhibit.
So cool!!
You walked up onto the platform and could feed and touch them!

Wasn't so cool when I saw their tongues though.
They almost ate like 3 kids.
That were 10 feet away.

After Ty's whole head got licked,
we decided to move on!

After the animals almost ate Taylee's hair,
I quickly picked a new hairdo!

Taylee's favorite animal!
The White Tiger!

Next up was the Petting Zoo

Yet somehow my kids didn't even go inside
because there was a playground next door that they couldn't resist.
hhmm baby animals vs an everyday playground??

Finally we ventured into the Aquarium.
Where Anden fell in love with the Stingrays.
A little too much.

Then we all ate at Dillons inside the zoo.
Which took 2 hrs!
Needless to say the kids were climbing the walls
and wiping the floors with themselves.
So we bolted home right after!
8pm on a weeknight is just too rebellious for us!
