Well after that last minute Napa Valley trip,
we rescheduled Taylee's party.
Luckily every single guest was still able to make it.
They were all SO excited for this party!
And so was I!!
The boys and Laiky went to the church campout.
Me, Eastlie and Taylee stayed home for the party.
We got a sitter for Eastlie
and off we went to get our pants scared off! ;)
We met everyone at
The Escape Room!
The girls were so giddy and nervous!
The manager went over all the instructions with us
and then walked us outside around the building
and into a side room...where he locked us in!
The lights dimmed and spooky music started.
Immediately 3 girls busted into full blown crying
and begging me to let them out.
UHHHH OHHHH this is NOT how I pictured this party would go down! haha
So 59 minutes to go in a locked room and 3 of the 10 dropped like flies!!
I distracted those girls and convinced them to just hold my hand and stick it out.
Phew because there had to be an adult in there...and I was the only adult! lol
It definitely was a spooky time that even had me jumping!
But overall everyone enjoyed it!
With 10 minutes left the owner poked his head in and asked those 3 girls
(that had been latched to me the ENTIRE time)
if they wanted to come to the control room and watch us from the monitors.
They jumped at the chance to get out of there! lol
So they loved watching and laughing at us in the dark room
getting spooked out while desperately failing at figuring out the final clues! lol
They all joined back with us at the end to go over the last few clues we didn't finish.
It was definitely a fun event!!
Then as we were walking back around the building to the main lobby
one of the girls yells "Oh look a tarantula!"
I hurried and yelled "DON'T TOUCH THIS ONE IT'S NOT A PROP!!" hahaha
And off the tarantula creepy crawled right past us!
lol that just topped off our spooky night!

I stayed up with these cuties doing face masks and just goofing off.
Meanwhile the boys and Laiky were out camping with bugs and dirt! :)
This party was such a hit!
Even though 3 girls were way too scared at first
(and I was worried I was going to have to apologize to their parents after lol)
everyone had such an awesome time!!
