Summer's Definitely Here!

Date: May 27th

The First Official Day of Summer

(once we got back from our lake trip)

hit us right in the face.

Like smack burning hot in the face.

108 degrees to be exact.

How does this heat happen overnight each year?!

This is going to be a looooooooong summer!

So we found new ways to keep cool.

 

Midway through our playing Ryan got home from work.

That's when the real fun began!

(sorry kiddos that Mommy's a dud cuz my baby belly!)

 

Then the kids decided they wanted to body surf across the tramp.

"Ryan throw me! Throw me!"

Um Fail! lol

Pregnancy Update - 28 Weeks

Well folks there has been a BELLY explosion over the last couple of weeks!

I am officially pregnant now! :)

But I guess I'm also 7 months along now so it's time!

I'm still battling most of the same symptoms daily.

I've finally accepted that I'm not just going to wake up one day and feel normal again.

Well maybe in August after this little baby makes its debut!!

And for those that keep asking,

 I have no idea on baby names yet.

Yes yes I know I better get cracking on that one!! :)

Anden's Last Day of School

Date: May 23rd

Anden's last day of school was Friday!

At first he was a bit perturbed that he had to go a day longer than Taylee

until he remembered Friday was a Beach Party all day

and Mommy was coming with him to school all day too!

Well that meant Taylee was coming as well.

Luckily most of Anden's class knows and loves her!

So she blends right in!

The day before at the Reading Party I had asked Mrs. Tryon

if the kids were wearing their usual spirit shirts/uniforms on Friday 

or if they could wear whatever they want.

She thought for a second and said 

"Oh I don't care!  It's the last day! I won't enforce uniform policy!"

Anden who was anxiously eavesdropping piped up,

"Can I wear a mohawk then too?"

She laughed and said "SURE!"
Little did she know he took this to heart!

They watched Teen Beach Movie then played games.

I just had to laugh that everywhere Anden went multiple girls followed him!

The Mohawk started to get "tired" throughout the morning!

Game Station Time

Taylee loved that she got to be a student and a mother helper!

She quickly ditched the kids to help make the cute teddy graham beach treats!

Mrs. Tryon provided pizza for everyone for lunch.
So during the normal lunch hour
the kids just played around in the gym begging me to take pics of them!

Then we moved outside.
Principal Barker had foolishly agreed to let the kids slime him,
yes every single kid in the school,
(and yes Taylee snuck right into the mix!)
for doing so well at the Boosterthon Fun Run!

The kids clearly didn't hold back! lol
What a cool Principal!

And what a super fun last day of school!
We were beat when we left there!

But the day was far from over.
We immediately got home and finished packing
then left on our boating/camping weekend!

The second School ends...Summer begins!!!
