Idaho Winter Trip - Dec 31st

Date: Dec 31st

We lounged around Dad's house in the morning.

Anden was excited to see that the cup of water/stick/candies he put in the snow

last night actually did turn into a popsicle!

Dad took this picture of his girls rocking their girls!

Then we all met in Idaho Falls at the movie theater for a matinee of

I really wished I would have gotten a picture of all of us taking up
an entire movie theater row!!
But instead I was chasing Laiklyn around the theater the entire 2 hours
and half of it while holding a fussy Eastlie too!
Good times! Ugh! lol
But it was a cute movie! (from the bits I saw!)

Then we headed over to Mom's house for dinner and New Year's Eve party!

Bring it on 2017!!

Idaho Winter Trip - Dec 30th

Date: Dec 30th

Today we hung out in Blackfoot all day.
We drove the RZRs over to the gravel pits for some good 'ole fashioned sledding.
Or maybe not so good 'ole fashioned?!

You would think permanent residents of snow country areas would have enough proper sleds.

But nope.

Instead Papa Nolie pulled some trash out of the bed of his truck

(he was headed to the dump next)

and improvised a sled!

Let's just say it didn't work out too well! lol

Ok back to the normal sled!

It was so cold!

But not too cold for a pic of the baby!

I did drag Eastlie out of the warm car to snap a couple to document she was really there!

The sledding lasted about 15 mins until they realized

how overrated it is to hike back up a mountain.

So we broke out the motorized toys instead!

Ahh much better! lol

Except Uncle Aaron was still suckered into hauling kids up the hill! haha

Read, Set, GO!

Then they wised up and joined the motorized brigade too!

We had so much fun cruising up and down the hills there

and blasting through the deep powdery snow!

I let Anden drive for most of it and he did awesome!

Then it was back home to WARM UP!

This cute little peanut fell asleep in her bundle of layers! 

That night we headed in to the fancy (for Blackfoot standards lol) steakhouse!

Another chaotic dinner with the whole bunch of us!

But a good time nonetheless!

Idaho Winter Trip - Dec 29th

Date: Dec 29th

The big kids were up in Idaho Falls playing all day.

So we had a chill day in Blackfoot.

Lyndsay and I took Grandma Norma to Walmart to help her do her weekly shopping.

The boys went to lunch in town afterwards.

Then it was naptime for the littles.

After that we headed up to Idaho Falls to pick up the big kids

and all go out to eat at Pizza Pie Cafe.

It was wild and chaotic with all of us but a good time!

Apparently I didn't take any pictures that day!

But Mom took some and texted them to me.

 

The big kids were exhausted from their late night and nonstop day of playing

so we headed right back to Dad's house to dump everyone in bed!
