Idaho Christmas Trip 2017 - 12/29 and 12/30

Date: Dec 29th

We lounged around Dad's that morning.

Anita was putting away Christmas decor.

So the girls had a blast in her totes!

You give them all these Christmas gifts

but yet they just want to play in a box!! lol

 

Then Lynds, Kyrrigan and I headed to Idaho Falls to pick up the big kids.

It had warmed up and the snow was starting to get wet and melt a bit.

But it was perfect in the fact that they were finally able to build a snowman!!

After we left Luke and Mel's house we swung by Mom's house

to hang out for a bit and say our final good byes.

Unfortunately we were driving back to AZ later that night.

It's always hard leaving!

This is when you realize you live really far away from your family! :(

Finally we got on the road back to Blackfoot

and met the rest of the gang in at Homestead Farms for your

usual goodbye dinner.

Too bad my hands were too full with the little girls to get a picture!

But it was Dad, Anita, Grandma Norma and mine and Lynds' families.

Then randomly our Uncle Boyd, Aunt Nancy and some of their kids/grandkids

were eating at the same restaurant at the same time!

(that's what happens when you have like 2 restaurants in town! lol)

So it was fun to see them too for a bit!

After dinner we hurried back to Dad's house to finish packing

and loading the car for the long haul home.

We got on the road about 8pm

and the kiddos crashed out soon after.

It was a really smooth drive back to AZ!

I dozed in and out while Ryan chugged caffeine to stay awake all night!

12/30/17

We woke up as the sun was rising around Lake Pleasant..only 20 mins left!

(I swear Ryan was awake lol)

A beautiful Arizona sunrise through a dirty winter Idaho windshield!

As we approached I-17 freeway a bunch of hot air balloons were out.

Yep we're back in Phoenix! :)

 

 

We went straight to the car wash!!

Then picked up breakfast burritos from our local mexican restaurant.

Yep we really our back in Phoenix now! lol

Then it was home to unload and chase kids

while Ryan slept for the next 4 hours!

That long drive was rough on Eastlie's hair.

Now that's some bed head! haha

What an awesome Idaho Christmas trip!!

We surely cherish the memories we make there with family! :)

Idaho Christmas Trip 2017 - 12/28

Date: Dec 28th

It was another play day in Blackfoot!

Papa Nolie decided to use his tractor to smooth out his side yard...

that the ever so smart boys (yes Ryan and Aaron) decided to whip donuts all through his

yard in the RZRs a few days ago!

Heaven forbid if you have a messy snow yard! lol

So Laiklyn joined him in the tractor!

Then we just hung out and played the rest of the afternoon.

That evening we all met up at Mom's house to finally do our Christmas exchange!

Too bad Brooke, Jordan and Bree had already headed up though.

So it was my family, Lyndsay's family and Luke's family there.

It was a whole lot of laughing, chatting, gifts and maybe a few tears.

Oh those two and their light blue eyes!!

I'm a sucker for baby blues!

And then my camera apparently got hijacked!

Oh now I know who had my camera! ha busted Jeslynn!

Laiklyn was in love with the candy that Aunt Bree gave her!

Actually Kyrrigan and Eastlie were too! 

A little peanut swiped a lollipop too!

She was much happier when I showed her how to suck the right end! haha

Eventually we all parted ways for the night.

Anden and Taylee got to go to Luke's house for a sleepover!

They had been begging since the first day we got there.

It's def one of the highlights of their Idaho trips!

So it was a quiet night for us as we just took the little girls home to bed!

I later found out that Melanie had a girls night so it was actually just Luke

watching all the kids at his house! haha sucker! ;)
