Idaho Summer Trip - May 31st

Date: May 31st, Day 6

Wake up and right outside like usual!

Then we loaded up and headed to Idaho Falls.
We first went to Mel's salon to pick up Taylee
then grabbed lunch and went over to Mom's.
The kids had a picnic in the front yard while we took turns chatting with Mom.

About the time we needed to leave to get back for naps,
another big rain storm rolled in.
Gosh I've never seen it rain here this much during this time of year.
Good thing Ryan bought new windshield wipers on the Burb before he went back to AZ!

While the littles were napping
Dad, Anden, Taylee and myself went on a RZR ride back to the gravel pits.
We did learn to look for cops this time...but didn't learn enough to wear helmets! lol
We played there for awhile and had a blast!
Then we stopped at the small town gas station to fill up before we went back home.
The kids loved that you just pull your RZRs on up to the pump!
But I really had to laugh when I look back and Taylee's cleaning the half windshield! haha

Then I cracked up laughing again when we walked inside the gas station.
This was out front.
Apparently you can just take a book or return a book.
Small town honor system at it's finest! lol

Inside the gas station I found one of my fave childhood treats!!

Maybe this is why I never see it sold in the city.
It's not a politically correct name! haha
I practiced on Anden! ;)

The littles were still sleeping.
Taylee really wanted to go see the horses!
So that's just what we did!

I didn't know there was baby calves too!
So cute!
This is what Idaho life is all about!

Papa Nolie talked (more like forced her! lol) Taylee into sticking her hand into the calf's mouth
to show her it didn't have teeth.
Instead it just sucked the crap out of her hand! hahaha so gross!

Her face says it all! haha

SLIMED!!!

Poor baby calf wondered why no milk came out of Taylee's hand! lol

Moving on to the horses!

She's so beautiful inside and out!
Love this pic!

The girls were SO excited to see the baby horse!!
I just LOVE all these pics of the girls and horses!

Venturing out to pet the baby horse

Papa Nolie is a true country boy!
Love this!

Then we had a nice little dinner with Grandma Norma.
After dinner Lynds and her girls headed back up to Idaho Falls.
They were flying back to Vegas tomorrow so they went to say their goodbyes.

My little crew decided to just stay in Blackfoot
and finally get Arctic Circle milkshakes and fries!! mmm mmm

Then it was back to Papa Nolie's for a chill evening!
