Date: Sept 21st
Another Saturday that we're up SO much earlier
than a week day!
Yes Anden had to leave at 5am for his football game!
Maybe he's still wishing he was on the injured reserve! lol
Waiting for the football carpool to get him.
Yep he fell back asleep!
Their game was in far away Chandler.
So we met them there at 8am when the game started.
It was Anden's first game back!
He was SO anxious to get out and make some plays!
His coaches didn't put him in as much as he would have liked
but I appreciate that they're taking his recovery seriously
and didn't want him to get reinjured.
He's the #1 spec! ;)
Halftime
Far right wide receiver
Far left wide receiver
Right slot again
Cheering Anden while doing whatever it takes to keep the littles entertained!
Ok girls walk the straight line....
(hoping this is the only time they have to actually do that! lol)
We won!!
Welcome back to Football Anden!!
After Anden's football game,
he headed back home to relax and swim for a couple hours.
Daddy and his little duckies
Really they're just waiting for their chance to shove him in!
Then the littles took a quick nap
so that we could get ready to head to Taylee's soccer game next!
They were still asleep when we needed to leave.
So we scooped them up and let them keep sleeping on the 40 min drive to Avondale.
This wee one was ready to hit the ground running once we arrived.
The other two...not so much!
Anden clearly can't hang after waiting up at 4:45am!!
This soccer park is close to Grammie's house.
So her and Uncle John met us to watch the game.
I didn't realize that Eastlie had taken my phone and was the photographer.
So here's your pictures of the game...
Eastlie and Mommy's feet
An accidental shot of the actual field and players
And Laiky and Grammie's feet! lol
The girls had a hard fought game and ended up catching up and tied at the very end!
Eastlie ran to join the high five line...so I grabbed my phone back to get a real soccer picture! lol
We said our good byes to the family
and made the trek back to Anthem.
We were exhausted from this looooooong day!
But Poppy had offered to come up tonight and hang with the kids
so we could sneak away for a rare date night.
As tired as we were, we knew we had to take advantage of a sitter!!
So we hurried and freshened up and tried to act awake!
Then left for a couple hours of adult peace with adult food!
We always have to document a date night.
We wish there was more of them.
But hey we still try to make it happen when we can!
And then we went home and counted the minutes until the kids went to bed
so that we could crash too!!
