Christmas at The Princess!!
We hit up the rides first!
Ferris Wheel!
Our family is too large for one bucket! lol
So me and these cuties rode together!
The boys and Eastlie were behind us
Ryan took these pics
Then we went tubing!
And yes I remembered from last year that this was REAL ice! lol
Hard and slick!!
The sibling race!
Eastlie so thinks she's older than she really is! lol
Merry Go Round
Then we headed over to the
Train Ride through the Lagoon Lights.
We ran into Shivers and Selfie Elfie first!
Next up on the train!
I swear Eastlie was having fun! lol
The camera flash blinded her a bit!
Then we wandered around the property checking out all the light displays
They love seeing the fun characters!
Oh you again!
Then it was on to the Santa's Workshop!
My Four Little Elves! lol
We wrote our letters to Santa
Anden trying out for the santa mailman position!
A nice grandma asked if we wanted a family picture!
The kids were all doing great
and then Eastlie had a meltdown right as we went to take the picture!
The first attempt with Eastlie suddenly crying that she couldn't stand on the table!
And the second attempt when we let her stand on a chair instead! lol sheesh
Now off to hand deliver our letters to Santa!
The overly into character gay elf
had Ryan and I biting out lips from busting up laughing!
He left us through the magical forest to Santa
But not without singing the Elf Pledge first
(yes I did take video lol)
Waiting our turn!
Since we had already taken pics with Santa this year,
I didn't feel the need to spend the $60 for one photo
(yes for real, this place is so pricey!!)
Instead Ryan used his covert photo skills to sneak a few
while pretending to be on a phone call! lol gosh
Then off to watch the animated show!
(before Ryan got put on the naughty list for sneaking free pics! lol)
I had my camera set up perfectly for a family self timer
when this kind old man came over and offered to take our picture.
Let's just say senior citizens and DSLR cameras don't play well together!
This was his 4th attempt....to even push the correct button.
I told him it was perfect and graciously thanked him.
I didn't have the heart to tell him it was totally blurry and out of focus! haha
Their reactions when I ask for just a kids picture!
But then Taylee always jumps up and is a good sport!
Then the kids picture went like this.....
Take 1:
Taylee focusing on posing and ignoring Laiklyn calling her name 47 times.
Laiklyn grabbing Taylee's shirt to get her attention.
Anden focusing on posing while trying to wrangle Eastlie.
Eastlie trying to get the heck out of there!
(and me taking the pic right when the tree lights flashed off!)
Take 2:
Taylee still perfectly posing.
Laiklyn now crying that she got scolded for pulling Tay's clothes.
Anden mocking the situation.
While hanging, instead of wrangling, Eastlie.
Take 3:
Taylee still perfectly posing.
Laiklyn even more furiously pulling on her for ignoring her.
Anden losing the battle with Eastlie
Take 4:
Taylee still perfectly posing.
Laiklyn's mood pendulum instantly swung to the happy side,
although tears still behind the smile.
Anden doing his best squat position
while smashing Eastlie between his legs to hold her in place!
Eastlie gasping for air!
Take 5:
Taylee still perfectly posing.
Laiklyn actually still perfectly posing too.
Anden's burning thighs lost the grip on Eastlie.
Eastlie can now breathe.
I was cracking up laughing watching them struggle! LOL
I could have just taken more pics for the fun of it.
But I decided that was enough torture and let them run wild!
We immediately found the Winter Princess!
Anden has figured out it's not always bad to be the only boy in the family!
He gets freebie excuses to sit by the Princess! lol
Ryan decided to use his freebie excuse to sit by the Princess too.
However she rejected him when he went to put his arm around her for the picture! hahaha
She's like "let me just put my arm inside yours"!
Anden and I were dying laughing!
Figured I better sit by her too
so she really didn't think my hubs was hitting on her!
Eastlie of course had to join us too!
And we're out!
See ya next year!
