Gingerbread House Party

Sunday night was the annual

Gingerbread House Party

I could end right there with that adorable scene.

But you know I can't stop at just one picture!

Holly & the kids came up early for a photo shoot.

Then to our lucky surprise

Tracy & the kids joined us later too!

And the finished products!

They definitely earned their Contractor Licenses this year!

Taylee's already asked me if we can make one EVERY day from now on.

I think that has more to do with the eating of the candy

then the building of the houses!!

Let Christmas Events Begin!

Saturday we went to Kierland to

"Miracle on Main Street"

Dancing with Mrs. Claus

Storytime with Mrs. Claus

Tree Lighting

Holly's kids are well trained, look at the camera and smile.

Mine, not so much.

Taylee won't stop dancing and singing.

Anden wants nothing to do with any of it.

Clearly.

(more appropriately known as gross foam)

And...Carriage Rides!

which we "patiently" waited for an hour to ride!

(which means the adults waited & the kids ran around like crazed animals!)

But it was worth it for the 8 minute ride! 

I  LOVE Christmas

and everything else that comes with it!

And today I will do just that.

Because through all the struggles in life,

I am TRULY blessed.

Because these two chose me for their Mommy.

And I couldn't be more grateful.

Surprise Visit

We are THANKFUL for family

and last minute visits!

Dada & Anita spent the evening with us on Monday!

We savored every minute.

Anden was thrilled to have a new target to shoot!

Oh wait,

how could he forget his trusty 'ole target?!

We ate dinner then headed over to the BIG Christmas Tree!

Then home for gifts, laughing & talking all night!
