Kick for the Cure Soccer Tourney

Date: Nov 7-9th

The girls had their first tourney of the season!
We only have 9 players this year.
And we're in a 9 vs 9 league.
So yep we did this tourney with NO subs!
If someone got hurt and sat out for a bit,
we just played with 8 players!

The girls all played so tough and we did awesome!
We ended up in the championship game and lost for the first time.
So we took 2nd place!!

Not bad for our first tourney and NO SUBS!!
Proud of these awesome girls!
And extra proud of Taylee!
That girl is the toughest chic!!
She plays sweeper - the very last line of defense
and is like hitting a brick wall!
The other teams can never get past her to even attempt a shot on goal!!
She's so fun to watch!
She even scored a goal from defense!!! lol
She booted it so hard out of there it went all the way across the field
and scored on the other end!

Here's pics from throughout the weekend and the many games!

Fall Sunday Best

Date: Nov 4th

I just love how cute my kiddos always look for church!
And luckily they still allow me to pick out matching clothes for them!! :)

Today we went for fall colors!

And yes my normally picture perfect photogenic oldest daughter
was rather mad that she had to miss her soccer game that morning to go to church.
And then I made her take family pictures.
Sorry Tay....but the look on your face made these pictures that much more priceless! lol

A for effort!
Way to force a smile through the tears! :)

November 1st Attire

Date: Nov 1st

November 1st means it's finally time
to bust out the "Swag Suits"!

These girlies can definitely rock the velour jump suits.
I secretly wished they had one in my size too! lol

And hearing Eastlie walking around chanting
"swag suit, swag suit, swag suit" is hilarious!

After we got the 3 older kids to school,
Eastlie and I made a costco run.
She's so funny and absolutely LOVES this little owl statue that my Grandma Norma
gave me last time we were there.
It makes my heart panic each time I see her find it and carry it around.
But then it makes my heart happy to see how much she loves something that's
been in my sweet Grandma's house for my entire life!
(Yes i do immediately take it from her so we can "keep it safe")
Today she begged to take it on a ride with us.
She held it safe the whole drive! :)

I had her leave the "baby owl" in the car.
But she immediately found a new best friend to accompany us on our shopping trip!

And no we did not buy that new friend! lol

On the way home I glanced back and busted up laughing.
Either she was done listening to the movie...
or me singing along! lol

Later that evening we went to the big park to play.
Eastlie decided she wanted nothing to do with the playground.
She wanted to ride the train.
But it wasn't running that day.

So she decided I didn't know what I was talking about
and she would just go find the train all by herself!
Little stinker is always running away.
She's so independent!

I especially love how she mocks me every time
and just laughs that I have to frantically chase her!

I thought I had her blocked once I got her up on the train loading dock.
But nope....that gate wasn't locked!

And off she sprinted away again!

Just a typical day for us! lol
At least she looked cute in her swag suit! ;)
