I'm Melting

Christmas 2010 is officially over.
Dad sent me these pictures of our snow family in his backyard.

I think the arm sticks piercing the body poignantly prove the point.

This one was appropriately labeled
"Your Kids"

All seasons must come to an end.
And that means SPRING is coming soon!
(well everywhere except Idaho! lol)

MLK Play Day

January 17th: Martin Luther King Day

The boys had the day off work.
And spent their time honoring past political figures
by doing this.

Later that evening we bbq'd at the park.
I love Arizona!

Monday Laughs

My dad sent me this picture mail today.

"I have 4 wrist watches. This morning I went to put one on. This is what I saw"

Maybe I was in dire need of a laugh?
Because I about fell out of my chair doing just that.

But no, he couldn't just end there.
He followed it up with this gem.

"You know where you live when this is the morning headline"

Seriously?! I'm still laughing.

Guess Who's Back...

Happy Days!
One of my very best friends
TRACY
is now once again an ARIZONAN!

Welcome Back Russos!

Hope you don't regret,
buying a house 5 miles from us! :-)

Another Milestone

January 14th

We were outside enjoying the beautiful weather.
Anden decided he wanted to take his training wheels off his bike.
Right then the neighbor girls came over
and wanted to help him.

The womanly pressure must have motivated him.
He was off and riding on his own after one push.

And 10 mins later, he rode off to the park.

I admit,
I got a little choked up seeing him pedal away.
He's growing up.
With or without my consent.

I A*D*O*R*E this kid.

Up my Game

This adorable little one has me trailing one step behind.
If she's left unattended for more than 60 seconds,
mischief ensues.

Exhibit A:
90 seconds to dig through my bathroom cabinets, find the perfect color and paint her own nails.

Exhibit B:
45 seconds to sniff out a rogue bottle of baby lotion at our friends' house and bathe herself in it

Exhibit C:
58 seconds to sprint upstairs, grab the Spongebob toothpaste out of the top cabinet, hide in the shower, and eat half the tube.

(I was too disturbed to take a picture this time! I was more worried about the toxic ingestion levels. But I guarantee this is how she felt...mmmm mmmm good!)

These events happened within the span of 3 days.
So if you see me out of breath,
it's because I can't keep up with her!!
