Let the MADNESS begin!!

Sunny Day

Some days you're the strawberry...

and some days you're the hairy butt...

Yes we got quite a lot of immature laughs out of this mutant strawberry

while making breakfast Sunday morning!

Finally the kids ditched us in favor of bugging Papa Nolie instead!

Then later we were outside playing and a ball got stuck on the roof.

So the men went to retrieve it through the theater window

and the kids quickly realized how FUN a roof is!

Needless to say they camped up there most of the day

making us throw balls back and forth to them!

Eventually we headed to church.

I had bought Taylee a new Easter dress awhile back

and then realized Easter isn't until April this year.

So she got to wear her new dress today.

Of course she wanted to model it for me! lol

She makes my heart melt.

She's so beautiful inside and out!

After church we made a yummy dinner

then ended the night with a sunset bike ride.

What a relaxing fun day!

Sports Saturday

The kids were SO excited for Papa Nolie

to come to their basketball games today!

First up: Taylee

I didn't get a lot of pictures.

Or maybe I should say suitable pics!

Let's just say I'm in a learning curve mode with this new camera!

Also Dad and I were giggling too much at the munchkin basketball skills!

Good thing Taylee's little team is cute!

Because the score was a tad scary.

But hey at least Taylee scored HALF the points!!

2 pts for Taylee.

2 pts for the rest of her team! :)

Next: Anden

This was a super exciting game!

The boys got themselves down in a hole and had to fight back.

The other team had a giant for a 7-8 yr old that kept making 3 pointers.

Um who knew there were even 3 pointers allowed in this league?!

We fought back hard but came up a little short.

Exciting nonetheless!

After the game we went home and lounged for a bit.

Some days are extra hard pregnant sick days.

Some are ok.

This was a killer day.

So when Ryan got home from work I laid down for a bit.

Ahhh a much needed rare little nap.

Then we got ready and headed to the

Dad hadn't ever been to an Arena Football game.
So we figured we would introduce him to redneck white trash football!
(Ok so just the fans are a little iffy! The game is still fun!)

It was the Home Opener so they had games set up outside the arena.
We all took our turn with the Football Toss.

Then even I handed the camera to Dad to take over as photographer

 and I took the final turn.

And yes I scored MORE than everyone!

Ryan LOVES when I beat him! ;)

But funny how there's no proof .

Conspiracy I tell you.

Once inside the arena,

the kids got to pose with the Suns team!

Then we headed straight up to the Kids Playground.

We purposely got there early since this is the highlight of the game for them! lol

We literally had to drag the kids out of there in order to get to our seats.

Yes we were in fact late for the opening festivities due to the Kids Playground! :)

Taylee was pretty excited when she saw the Rattler mascot riding in the mini hummer!

Then came the 472 questions about everything about the sport and the arena.

Anden was content to just sit in quiet and shove his mouth full of food!

We did fit in watching the actual game between taking pics!

We left in the 4th quarter to get the kiddos to bed.

We were winning.

We checked later and it had gone into and OT thriller and we won!

Dad,

 now you can check Arena Football Game off your bucket list!

Because I'm just sure it was on there! lol

And more Friday Fun!

Friday was a half day of school for both kids.

After Taylee's field trip and Anden's teacher conference,

we jetted home to play.

Ryan got off work earlier than expected too.

So we hit up the pool!

I forgot my big camera and kept running out of space on my cell phone.

So unfortunately I don't have pictures of Dad's spectacular dives from the high diving board

or Ryan's attempts at a spectacular dive! ;-)

The kids always maul Ryan in the pool! lol

Luckily he's such a good sport!

The clouds rolled in and a breeze started up.

Needless to say we had some COLD kids (and adults!)

But not me!

I was smart enough to stay nice and dry wrapped in a towel on a lounge chair!

Anden and his blue lips came to cuddle with me!

(and eat fruit by the foot!)

While Papa Nolie fed the fishies!

On the way out I tried to get a pic of Taylee in her swimsuit and rain boots

(she couldn't find her flip flops and chose rain boots instead)

She smiled and posed.

We were wiped out after swimming.

So we grilled and had a nice quiet dinner on the patio.

Then backyard playing.

The kiddos definitely wore out Papa Nolie! lol

Then to my surprise,

Ryan and the kids brought me out an early birthday present!

They wrapped it in 6 different layers!

YIPPEE!!!!

A new fancy camera!!!!

I have sucked every last ounce of life out of my current camera

and now it can finally retire!

They wanted to give it to me early knowing I would be taking

lots of pictures over the weekend of all our events.

What a great birthday surprise!
