Then the kids performed a little song & dance.
Well all of the kids BUT Anden.
He stood there motionless and expressionless.
Who are the awful parents that forced that poor kid to have fun at pre school?!
Then they called each student by name to come up and get their certificate, class picture, and walk over the stairs. Every kid waved and beamed with joy.
Our kid forgot how to walk...let alone wave.
After he remembered how to move his legs,
he found Jeremy in the crowd and begged for rescue.
Successfully walking the plank and navigating the shark infested aisle!!
His buddy Jaden was thrilled to see he survived the torture.
One on One tutoring from his teenage admirers
Walking back to his classroom for dessert
Conning another female admirer into unwrapping his cupcake
Enjoying the fruits of his (or their) labor!
We are so grateful to have found this preschool! Seriously, they do an amazing job! They had made a scrapbook for each kid that had pictures, stories, etc from the entire school year. Then they had a movie presentation that they showed. It had the cutest pictures and a little interview with each child! Oh and no need to worry that we missed any of the movie (while we were chasing the younger siblings around the classroom), they gave each of us our own copy! How cute!
To sum up the year, Anden successfully won over every single female student teacher. The squealing high pitches mobbed me to introduce themselves and how much they loved Anden...all while shoving me torn pieces of papers with their scribbled phone numbers. I now have a plethora of babysitters to pick from this summer....or maybe the numbers were for Anden?
On a final note, during the movie the pack of squealers all ran over to show me the first page they had made in Anden's scrapbook. I knew throughout the year they had commented often about Anden's clothing and shoe attire. What I didn't know is that they were documenting it. They said they had a hard time selecting "only 8" for this page.
I was a bit torn whether to be embarassed or flattered.
OK I ADMIT, I LIKE TO SHOP! :-)
