Another year of Pre School

Anden had his end of year celebration

on Thursday.

He is SO smart, witty, adorable, funny and loved by all!

This little crazy cutie was less than excited about being physically restrained.

Tracy put her kids in the same school when they moved back here!

So much in fact

that Taylee is enrolled next year too!

And so is Anden

for a third year.

Yes.

More than half of his life.

Seriously, I have struggled deeply with this decision. Anden's turns 5 on Aug 28th...3 days before the cut off to enroll in Kindergarten.  So technically I could send him to Kindergarten this year.  But do I really want him to be the YOUNGEST kid in school?  To be almost a full year younger than others in his grade his entire educational life (and sports life)?  To be 3 years apart in school from Taylee instead of 2 even though they are almost exactly 2 years apart in age. I've debated the pros and cons for years now knowing I would eventually have to make this decision.  I've consulted multiple opinions in the educational industry.  This one "simple" decision will affect SO much in his life. Well, I finally decided that another year at this FABULOUS Pre School could only help him and not hinder him.  SO watch out, there will be 2 Harbecks on the loose this fall!

Oh and I've also forewarned Mrs Dyer that he'll probably be taking over her job!

He's highly qualified for the position.
