Taylee's Birthday Letter

In all of life's craziness,
I realized I never posted my birthday letter to Taylee.
I'm sorry sweetie.
I really was almost done....a month ago!

Since this is something that is really important to me
to take the time to capture my thoughts about each child,
here it is.
Late but not forgotten.

Dearest Taylee,

Words can't even describe the pure joy and fulfillment you have brought into my life.  I am amazed daily at your level of intelligence, wit, spunk, humor, tenderness and determination.  You are seriously the best mix of a girly girl and a tomboy.  You can definitely keep up with both crowds.  I'm in awe of your bigger than life personality.  I'm in awe of your pure gentle heart. I'm in awe of your "never take no for an answer" attitude (in good ways and bad! lol)  I'm in awe of your thirst for knowledge and understanding.  I'm in awe of your fearlessness to do anything or talk to anyone.  I can't even count how many adults have told me the funniest stories about you "We just love Taylee and her spunky personality!"  "Taylee is hilarious and always has a compliment for me about my attire... I really like your shoes today...Your hair is pretty....I love your dress!" You truly can make anyone smile. You are our little "spitfire" our little "sassy panties" our little "taylee princess harbeck" with your little "tayleetude". We wouldn't have it any other way. We all ADORE you.

I constantly have to remind myself that wow you're ONLY turning 3.  You seem so much older in so many ways.  But I love that in other ways you are still my baby.  You still let me cuddle with you, sing with you, give you unlimited huggies and kissies.  And of course you still want your same pink baby blankey every night (and nap!).  I'm sorry it's so dirty.  I can never sneak it away to wash it!

Taylee, you're my precious little girl.  My mini me. I connect with you on so many different levels.  I look into your eyes and see my own.  I truly understand you. My sincerest prayer is that I will always be a Mother that will make you proud...and that you will be proud to be my Daughter.

Love Eternally,
Your Mommy
