Our cute little girl Taylee has had...how should we say this nicely...um funky hair from day one! She was born with tons of dark hair on the sides and back, little on top. The sides were down past her ears at birth! Then the inevitable took place and all the hair in the back was rubbed off (we're still attempting to re-grow that!). So for a few months she still had "The Wings", as we lovingly refer to them, nothing in the back but yet now hair on top. We figured that was a success to have 3 of the 4 "hair areas" covered. Well now her hair has gone from really dark brown/black...to a shade of red, light brown, platinum blonde. Just pick a hair strand and it's like those carnival grab bags...you never know what you're going to get! So basically we have no idea what will be the permanent shade. I guess she's trendy and already mixing up her hair styles each week!
Well I have debated for awhile now to chop off The Wings. Maybe the final comment that pushed me towards the raging scissors is when my loving sister told me that pretty soon Taylee would be able to jump rope with her own hair!! Thank you Lyndsay. So I've resisted my urge to put The Wings out of their misery and instead came up with this. Introducing the Little Piggies!
And while we were doting on our daughter, our son managed to bury himself in the sandbox. That sure was fun to clean up. Sand in places I can't even mention.
