School Time

Anden is an official pre-schooler! Can you even believe it?! He was SO excited to start!! Tuesday was the first day but the parents got to come along. It just an hour to meet the teacher, tour the facility and meet the other kids. Anden loved it so much he wouldn't leave. Needless to say, we were the only parents that had to physically carry our kid out of there.

First and foremost, checking out the playground and sandbox!

Playing with all the new toys!

Today (Wednesday) was his first day all by himself. We definitely were more nervous and anxious than he was! When Jeremy dropped him off, Anden ran right in and didn't even look back! His friend Ryah (that he plays with every day) and some of his friends from our old church ward go too!

We anxiously awaited all day (ok it's only 3 hours!) to pick him up and see how it went! I walked in and couldn't find him anywhere. Then I see him in the corner surrounded by 3 cute female student teachers and they're building blocks together. I busted up laughing. Typical Anden; he already had them wrapped around his finger!! I walk over and say hi and the girls gushed in their teeny bopper lingo, "OH MY GOSH!! Are you Anden's mom?! He is like SOOOOOO cute! Seriously he's the cutest little boy ever! Oh and his eyes! OMG like oh they're just so amazing! OMG and he's like SO funny!" I just smiled and gave my little boy a big squeeze. His Dad would be so proud of him for already wooing the ladyfolk! lol

Anden & Ryah after their 1st day!!

The celebratory lunch at McDonald's afterwards

Class Picture (his teacher was sweet enough to already email this to the parents!)
We're so thrilled for Anden to be in preschool and can't wait to see how much he changes over the year! He absolutely loves it so far! He's hoping next year he can actually ride a school bus!

(I'm glad Anden's Mother hasn't forgotten the "teenie lingo") Moments like these make all your scheduling nightmares worth it. Maybe Papa Nolie will have to drive the bus soon!!
