Smoke Mobile

So after only one week of Jeremy's new 100 mile round trip daily commute to work in a big SUV, we bought this additional little gem.

Honda Civic Hybrid

I wished I could say I was part of the green, earth loving, tree hugging, hybrid movement. But honestly...I really just cared about the 50 mpg and the accompanying HOV license plate (for you country folk that means you can drive in the HOV carpool lane with only ONE person!!) These plates are worth GOLD!! They are rare and almost impossible to get. I seriously hit the jackpot when I found this little car! I love Craigslist!

I hurried and scheduled an appointment for Jeremy to test drive it. He approved, put down a deposit and then left out of town for a week. So I was on my own to make this purchase happen. I successfully pulled it off! There was just one minor hiccup. I'm certain that the super nice professional lady selling the car was married to this guy:

As soon as I met her, I was blown away by the lingering scent of cowboy cigarettes. Somehow that didn't equate to me that the car would smell like this also. After I had signed all the paperwork, I went outside to see my new purchase for the first time. (ya so maybe I did that in the wrong order) I opened the door and sat inside. How exciting! I was now the proud owner of a very overpriced ashtray! I texted Jeremy while I was gagging and driving it home "um did you forget to mention that it was a smoker's car?!" He wrote back "Huh?! Really? I didn't even notice. I had a stuffy nose from my cold!" Are you kidding me? Are you sure your nose was even attached to your face that day?!

Needless to say...
$150 worth of 2 ozone treatments and steam cleanings later
and the car is now inhabitable!

And now we happily zoom around looking eerily similar to this:
