The Patriotic Party Continues

Bright & early on Monday morning, we headed to the lake! The stomach flu had ceased and I was only dealing with the head cold. Which was a huge improvement from the previous day's death bed. Since I had missed out of the 4th of July, I shoved us all into our patriotic swimwear and we celebrated again.

We took the Mortensen's with us and then met a bunch of friends there that had camped the night before. Even without sickness, we still wouldn't camp in 100+ degrees! We'll stick with our A/C, thank you.

We had a fun time. Of course we still think we're 16 years old....and now we're so sore we can barely move. Curse those stupid tube rides!!

I managed to get one measly picture as we were loading up.

Kind of like my recollection of the weekend!!

We dumped the kids into bed for really late naps and then had our own pizza party. Aaron loves a local pizza place in Anthem. So we owed him for his eletrical services!

Finally it was time for Lynds & Aaron to go home. We had to wake up the kids (yes at 5:45pm) so they could say bye. Hopefully they'll be back soon. Actually hopefully they don't get my disease....or they'll never want to come back! :-)

While we were outside loading up and saying goodbyes, the kids found the water balloon stash. So the rest of the night was spent again on the driveway.
