Tball Time

Tball Season has started.
This year Taylee's old enough to play also.
So stinkin cute!

I betrayed Anthem League Sports
and enrolled them at my softball park,
Victory Lanes.
The league is much more advanced and competitive
and how can you resist team hat/shirts?!

Meet Team Owls.

Clearly Anden really took the "owl eyes" theme seriously.

After last night's first practice,
it was very apparent that Taylee was by far the smallest kid on the field
and the most inexperienced.
But dang she looked adorable cluelessly skipping around!
Don't mind that I completely lost her THREE times.
Once she was found over at the sand volleyball courts filling up her shoes.
Two times she was frantically retrieved at the playground
happily going down slides and hanging from monkey bars.

On the other spectrum,
Anden was by far the team clown and trouble maker
and ironically also one of the most talented players.
He even managed to still stop a grounder
while standing in an ant hill and ferociously being attacked.
Go figure!
If there's 100 kids, he will ALWAYS be the ONE that gets eaten alive

Needless to say,
juggling two kids on one team of completely different skill levels
and personalities will definitely result in an interesting and humor packed season!

But you want to know the best part about this league?
My long time buddy Tracy also got her kids on the same team!!
Yippee for us!
Guaranteed two girly chat sessions a week!
(or as we figured out last night that was limited to "hi, bye" as we both chased our kids the whole time!)

Last but not least.
It's super comforting to have this billboard in the outfield of a Tball (AKA 3-5 YR OLDS) field.
We were torn whether to laugh or cinge.
