I thought I packed warm clothes.
But after living in Phoenix for so long
I've realized I forget what "cold" really is.
We were freezing during the night and morning.
The kids were thrilled that they could see their breath!
When the sun finally rose over the mountain
and slightly warmed us up,
he headed out for a hike!
Then we headed up to the top of the ridge for target practice!
I always love when Anden sneaks the camera.
He has a different eye for photography than I do.
But I actually liked this one!
Then I used the trusty ole baby wipes
to clean everyone up
and throw on our fancy duds for a photo shoot.
It's completely painful each time
yet somehow I miraculously get some good shots!

Finally we loaded up all the camping crap
and headed back home.
Taylee (and the circle pretzels) entertained us the whole drive home.
We had such a fun time!
We can't wait until next year!
