Happy New Years!
I can't even believe it's already 2015!!
Where did 2014 go?!?!
It was still abnormally cold!
But the big kids and I braved the weather and headed to the park
where they had set up an ice skating rink inside the hockey rink for the day!
This one is "arizona fake" ice skating though!
And wouldn't you know it was TONS harder than real skating!
Flashing their "2015" gang signs!
It didn't take long before we were over the fake skating.
(really it took 10 mins to lace up the dang skates and then 3 mins skating before Taylee had to pee!)
So we busted out the new skateboards.
Instead of going inside the skate park with their boards,
they just zoomed around the sidewalks.
Our little fingers were totally frozen
(seriously the temp was low 40s!!)
so we headed to Starbucks for peppermint hot cocoa!
Then it was back home to warm up!
Ryan and Laiklyn were awake and ready for our craziness to return!
Which Laiklyn immediately learned even she wasn't exempt from my festivity! lol
We chilled at home the rest of the day.
We played games and enjoyed our family time!
Even Laiklyn got to join in!
