Friday morning...
Anden: Mommy are you coming to my Field Trip today?
Me: Honey you never asked me to so I didn't sign up.
Anden: Please Please come!!
Me: Well they already have all of the Parent Chaperones.
Anden: Please Please Please!!!
Me: Babe I'm supposed to be working today
Anden: (turning on the big crocodile tears) But I really want you to
and you've NEVER missed a Field Trip before.
So guess where me and Laiklyn went on Friday?
Yep to the Science Center
with the 2nd Graders!
(lol I'm a sucker for those big blue eyed tears)
We had a great time!
Anden, his best buddy Owen, and Grace were 3 of the 5 in our group.
Laiklyn loved all the kids oohing and aahing (and mauling) over her!
Although it was a last minute scramble,
I'm glad I went!!
I guess I probably only have a few years left
that he'll beg for me to attend his school functions!
