Saturday afternoon Ryan had planned for us to
go play sand volleyball at the park.
What he didn't tell me is that he had invited
his family and the Mortensens for a little
birthday shin dig for me.
Ahh so sweet!
So we lounged in the 80 degrees,
played in the grass and sand,
ate pizza
and yummy dessert!
I guess as much as I try to deflect my birthday
into being a green holiday for others,
Ryan made sure that I still got my own moment
and to blow out as many candles as he could possible fit on one caramel brownie!
