The Friday night activities continued.
After Taylee's soccer game
we grabbed dinner and then headed back to the park.
Every Friday night in May
our community puts on free concerts at the amphitheater.
I had packed warm clothes knowing we were going
straight from soccer to the concert
and knowing the forecast called for rain.
We loved throwing on jackets
and playing outside
as usually we're already sweating at Music in May!
The forecast was correct
and about an hour into the event
the skies opened and it started raining.
Poor Arizonans don't know how to handle rain.
They scampered to their cars like roaches.
Geez people it's like you're going to melt from the rain.
Or maybe you will?
And yes we were some of those bugs scampering as well.
Concert cancelled!
