Vegas Trip

Date: May 1st

Mayday! Mayday!
My big sister needs help!

You see my sister Lyndsay is 7 months pregnant
and just bought a house that they needed to move into.
She was stressing to say the least.
So at the last minute we rearranged our schedules
and headed to Vegas to help them out!

This was definitely a work your butt off weekend
but we still had fun in the process!

We got their late Friday night and just chatted and laughed
and caught up with each other.
It has been since Christmas since we saw each other last!

Saturday morning bright and early the work began.
The men took off to start the big stuff
while the women and children attempted packing.
Fun to say the least with a crawling baby that's into everything
and a 3 year old that assists her in getting into everything! lol

A few hours later I took the busy body girls
to McDonalds for lunch and to check out the fishies!

Fishy Lips!

The worker Moms after one of our last loads!

We decided to take a break and go out to dinner.
Ryan's been dying to try out their fave
all you can eat sushi place.
So we cleaned up and headed out to stuff our faces!
The boys were more than ready as they informed us that
they hadn't stopped to eat all day!
Even the little girls got in on the action!

After we waddled home from dinner (Literally)
we realized we had tired kiddos (and adults!)
and no beds assembled.
So the mad rush assembly began.
Ryan tackled Kyrrigan's new bed while Aaron fought with the master bed.
At one point Ryan needed a hand.
Since I was corralling Laiklyn from tumbling down the stairs,
Lyndsay got the assistant job.
I had to take a pic of her tiny cute belly!

Finally the beds were all assembled and we crashed asleep!

The next morning we attempted unpacking and organizing.
I was on kid duty again
while the boys did more loads from their storage unit
and Lynds went back to work on the condo.

So the girlies and I played.

Part of Ryan's incentive to make this Vegas trip
is to finally pick up the new AR gun that he had Aaron custom build for him.
He was beyond giddy as they finished up the last few tweaks.
I had gone upstairs to put Laiklyn to nap after they returned from their loads.
I came down to see who really fell asleep with his baby.

I'm thinking that Laiklyn and I might have been replaced.

Eventually we had to head back home.
I took a quick pic of the Gravens in front of their new home!
We're so happy that they finally have space to spread out
and just in time for the new little baby girl to arrive!

I'm still wondering if Kyrrigan taught Aaron that pose! lol

Then we said our tearful goodbyes and make the 4 hr drive back home.
Apparently we even wore out Laiklyn with this trip
as she slept 3 of the 4 hrs!!

And for the family that's been asking...
here's some pics of their home that I snagged off the MLS listing!
It'll be fun to see how they transform it into their own style.
