Happy Halloween!!!
We started the morning off with orange chocolate chip crepes!
(or as Laiklyn said it, "Mommy I want an orange crap too!" lol)
Then it was off to school for the big kids!
Taylee's class was able to dress up as a story book character.
So she picked the 3rd little smart pig that build his house out of bricks!
Perfect we have just the costume...lol that you just wore for trunk or treat! ;)

Yes I was even festive as we walked them to school.
I'll claim Eastlie was in on the cat theme too...even though those are her normal jammies!
Then the littles girls and I got ready to head to Halloween Story Time at the library.
Eastlie was a flower and Laiklyn was a cow.
Until we walked out the door.
Then she fell into a heap sobbing that she wanted to be a cat instead.
OMG I can't win.
So I hurried and changed her into her cat costume and we headed out.
Such a good little flower finally sitting and listening to the story! lol
And then 3 seconds later back to wandering the room!
After story time we rushed home and changed.
Then I dropped the littles off at my friend's house
so I could run to school to Taylee's Halloween Party!
She had begged me to come and I wasn't sure I could find a sitter.
So she was BEYOND thrilled when she saw me walk up!
Ahhh love that my bigs still want me at their events! :)
I raced out of there early to snag the littles and dump them into naps.
Then I prepped dinner and everyone's costumes for the night.
I knew it would be a rat race when school ended.
For the first time ever we were fed, dressed, pictures taken and out the door at 5:30pm
to meet neighbors for trick or treating!!
This year we had a...
Zombie Cheerleader
Overwatch Reaper
And an uncooperative kitty with a runaway chicken
And of course my 5th child Owen as a Storm Trooper!
We walked around the corner to Owen's house to meet up with some families.
The whole group of neighbor friends!
(which lasted about one house trick or treating before the bigs took off!)
I just LOVE our neighborhood!!
We have so many good friends that all live within walking distance.
It was quite the social night for the adults let alone the kids!
I loved seeing everyone out and about and all the houses being festive and giving out candy.
Heck so many of our neighbors even give out FULL SIZE candy bars!
Sheesh that's not in our budget! lol
The whole night definitely gave me the warm fuzzies of gratitude to live where we do
and provide this environment for our kiddos!
Every mom ended up with a different little kid in their stroller/wagon/arms/etc!
But hey that's just how we roll!
The bigs met up with us every so often then went back on their way speed trick or treating!
Eastlie was done about 10 houses in!
She ripped off her hat and threw it to the ground.
But don't worry,
her hair still matches her costume!
Nice and fluffy! haha
Taylee ended up going with another of my mom friends and the girls group.
So after we took the littles home and Ryan stayed back,
I took Anden and a few buddies over to the next neighborhood to score more candy
(and possibly because his little "girlfriend" lives in that neighborhood too!)
Eventually we all met back at home
and counted up the loot!
Holy crap these kids got so much candy!
I literally have 7 gallon size bags of candy sitting on my counter!
uhhhh anyone want some??!
