I don't remember much about Nov 17th.
I know we rolled into Dad's house about 2am.
We chatted with him for a bit and then dumped everyone in beds.
Of course they were up at 7am ready to party!
The rest of the morning was a groggy blur!
Then me and the big kids headed up to Idaho Falls to see Mom.
She only has limited amounts of energy.
So I didn't want to overwhelm her yet with my whole crew.
It was a really nice quiet couple of hours with her.
Luke left work and stopped by to see us too.
The hospice nurses came buy to get everything set up.
That was good but hard.
This whole situation is just plain hard!
Mom needed to nap
so me and the bigs left and we headed over to Luke's house
now that his kiddos were home from school.
We all hung out there for a few hours
and then Ryan and the littles met us all back over at Mom's house
to hang out for a couple more hours.
She was so excited to see the little girls.
The kids were so excited to see their Idaho relatives!
Eventually we headed over to the airport to leave a car for the Gravens
and Jordan/Bree who were to arrive later that night.
Then it was back to Blackfoot to dump the kids in bed.
But that only turned into Eastlie going to bed.
The rest wanted to wait up for the Gravens to get here.
So it was another late night!
But those kids were so happy to be reunited again! lol
And sadly I didn't get a single picture this entire day!
The main reason for this trip was to have a family dinner
with Mom, Brad, all my siblings and all my nieces and nephews!
That was tomorrow, Nov 18th
When Mom suggested to do this family gathering,
I offered to do all the designs for it!
So I worked on that for the couple of weeks leading up to the event.
It was an honor to help her with the preparations.
Late that night I prepped the final things for the dinner.
The next morning we lounged around Dad's house
then got ready to head to Idaho Falls.
Right when everyone arrived we hurried and did some family pictures!
I haven't seen the final copies yet.
But here's some from cell phones that people took while the photographer was taking the officials.
I have to say my family are all so cute!
Mom and her kids
Mom and daughters
Mom and sons
Mom and her grandkids
(and yes poor Eastlie cried the whole time...uhhh she's kind of attached to only me!)
Mom and Brad
The whole entire crew!
Then we went up to the banquet room for our family gathering.
It looked so great in there!
Unfortunately I took very few pictures.
In between juggling my 2 little terrors and hosting the games, etc
there wasn't much time for pictures.
Good thing our photographer stayed throughout the dinner
so I'll post those pics when she sends them out.
But here's the few I did take!
Eastlie desperately trying to escape! lol
We played games, we laughed, we cried, we sang songs, we told stories
and we ate delicious food!
But we finally had to load up.
So we moved the party over to Mom's house for pies and dessert.
Mom was SUCH a trooper but was completely exhausted by then.
So we all put her to bed and said our goodbyes.
Ryan and Aaron took the little girls back home to bed and
then the rest of us headed over to the after after party at Brooke's hotel!
The kids were SO excited to hit the pool!
The adults were excited to just chat and relax...in the muggy loud indoor pool! lol
The kids all ganged up on Uncle Jordan to throw him in the pool!
haha I have NO idea how he barely escaped that one!
He was for sure going in!
The whole pool gang!
