After the event, Jer texted me and said the kids had a blast. I asked what kind of bears they picked out. He excitedly replied, "Anden got an army bear and Taylee a pink princess bear!"
For starters, I can't even find Anden's bear. It disappeared amongst the camo on camo effect. I did like that the invisible bear has a love for skateboarding though. Our service men deserve a little time shredding the skate ramps too. Now on to Taylee's bear. First, Taylee's 20 mos old and doesn't even know her colors. So do you really think that just cuz she picked the princess shirt (no pants of course) that you needed to let her pair it with ruby red shiny shoes? It really highlights the LACK of red in her wand and tiara....or anything else in the outfit. And then to top it off I found out that the extra "accessories" were over the allotted birthday budget and hence we paid for them instead.
Needless to say, I cracked up laughing when I saw the bears.
But the kids love them and that's all that matters!
And now I am tearing apart the house looking for that stupid wand and army dog tags...
for the 63rd time.
