We made our annual Fall trip to Sedona this weekend.
Although we left a day later than planned
due to the previous tire incident.
And this was the first day there...
Hence why I sucked it up and got us a hotel for the night.
So we could enjoy the sunshine the next day!
And when we woke up and went to go for a drive through the canyon,
the car battery was dead.
Really dead.
I had packed the jumper cables as a precaution. So a stranger was able to get us started. And then I drove my humble and frustrated self straight to O'Reillys where I was kindly told my battery was shot.
Add another $100 to the car issues this weekend.
I'll admit,
as I waited for the worker to come outside and install the battery,
while struggling to figure out how to take the precious cover off of the insides of the car,
in my white jacket
with grease and dirt all over me
while hollering at the kids to stay out of the parking lot
and to quit fighting
I crumpled on the curb in defeat and had a mini meltdown.
Taylee came over and gave me a much needed hug.
"Don't cry Mommy, We be ok"
And with that I picked myself up and conquered this round of car issues also.
And made the most of the day with smiles.
