Soccer Games #3: April 21
In true Idaho Arizona fashion
it went from 50 degrees last Saturday to 100 degrees this Saturday!
So now it was "too hot to play".
I can't win here folks.
First up:
Anden's Game at 9am
High Five'ing Coach after our team scored!
Anden volunteered to play goalie at one point.
I asked him later how he liked it.
"It's BORING! The ball didn't even come down here!"
I explained to him that's a good thing!
It means your team is doing great on offense!
He didn't buy it
and won't be volunteering for Goalie again.
Anden has yet to score a goal.
(which saves some money on bribe gifts!)
But he's right in the mix helping his team.
He's back to being the youngest in this league.
So it's definitely more competitive.
Taylee was quietly sitting next to me during Anden's game
(which is beyond rare that 1: she's quiet 2: she's sitting)
I glanced down to check on her.
I cracked up laughing.
She was contently eating her snacks while crossing her legs.
Seriously?! How do little girls already know to cross their legs?
Next:
Taylee's Game at 11am
I've decided it's just cruel to make the 3 yr olds wait to play
until right during lunch time.
Needless to say, her soccer motivation had worn off
by the time her game started!
The majority of the game was spent
begging, bribing & pleading with her to play.
Good thing I brought the water spray fans.
It was the only thing that kept the team happy!
(and sad when fights broke out over them & they got confiscated!)
At one point, she did manage to break away
and dribble down the field alone!
Until she decided to change the ball direction.
By bending down and repositioning it with her hands.
At another point in the middle of the action,
she randomly ran to the sideline to talk to a complete stranger.
About fashion.
lol no joke.
We finally made it through another game!
And they even won!!
