On Monday Anden's class took a Field Trip to
They had a blast!
When I picked him up after school,
he was lugging this huge grocery sack.
He was hot, tired, cranky.
He dropped the huge bag at my feet and whined,
"I'm sick of carrying all of this produce!"
I just busted up laughing.
Apparently he learned what "produce" was today!
Later his teacher told me she warned the kids that
"pick all you want"
meant you had to carry it all by yourself too.
Maybe this will curb his greedy desires!
When we got home,
we continued the learning by cleaning each and every one
of those "produce".
Then we even incorporated them into dinner that night!
Ahh how I love fresh produce straight from the farm to the kitchen!
