Super Saturday

We love Spring weather!

It was another 90 degree day!

We cleaned and did chores in the morning,

so that we could play all afternoon!

First up:

Anden's Basketball Game #6

We played the super tough team again.

Our team did awesome on what their coach has been preaching.

Passing, Dribbling, Defense

However during this game they must have forgotten Offense is important too!

Anden claims we only lost 12-10.

But I think it was probably closer to 20-10.

Either way the kids are learning to be selfless with the ball.

Although Anden didn't have any points this game,

he had at least 10 rebounds!

Now to work on learning that it's ok to fast break down the court and shoot,

rather than pass 46 times! :-)

Half Time Snack

After the game we grabbed lunch and ran home to change for the next activity!

Off we went back to the community center to go swimming with the Mortensens!

So there Ash and I sat poolside and chatted for 2 wonderful hours

while the kids swam

and fought

and whined

and had intermittent time outs.

Good times! :-)

I also love how swimming wears out the wee ones!

Of course they refuse to nap

but at least they'll zone out on the couch watching cartoons

so that I could finish cleaning the rest of the house!

(I said for my birthday I just wanted a clean house! Guess it's the gift I gave myself lol)

After our activity packed day,

we decided just to take it easy and stay at home that night.

So Chinese to go

and a picnic on the grass 

completed our evening!
