Back to School Checklist

I can't even believe how quickly the summer flew by!

The kids start school on Monday 8/11.

Because my little bundle of joy is also coming about the same time

I've really had to be on the ball with the whole

back to school to do list!

And by golly I think I've got it conquered!

However I still wake up in a panic at night thinking I've forgotten something! 

1: Buy School Supplies - check

(cardinal sin committed by taking kids along with me!)

2: Buy School Clothes - check

(learned from supply shopping and only brought them for round 2 of clothes shopping!)

Twice I was at Anthem Outlets and monsoon storms hit 

and knocked the power out to all the stores.  

Guess that's my sign to stop shopping?! lol

Taylee was thrilled to do an impromptu fashion show for me

 to make sure her clothes fit.

Complete with a foam runway mat,

fan blowing on her,

and pandora tunes to strut to.

She made me take pics of 

every. single. outfit.

I'll spare you and only post some! lol

Needless to say I've got a 5 yr old teenage diva on my hands!

While the 7 yr old I had to bribe to even try on his clothes!

3: Back to School Haircuts - check

(let's just say one child was much happier about a trim than the other!)

4: Select "THE" School and Withdraw Enrollment from the Others - check, check, check

And the winner is...

5: Practice the New Route to School - check

(Yes I rode my huge butt on my bike too! Nothing like your knees hitting your belly on each pedal!)

6: Pack Backpacks - check

(and double check supply list)

7: Lay out 1st, 2nd, 3rd day of school clothes - check, check, check

(hey I have no idea if/when I'll be in the hospital!)

At this point there's only a few things left....

8: Meet the Teacher - 8/7

9: Take Back to School pics

9: FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!! 8/11

And then I can finally focus on bringing a new little one into our super busy lives! :)
