Happy Halloween!!

I just love all holidays

and doing festive little things!

Ryan, on the other hand, thinks I'm a tad overboard! lol

Oh well they all enjoy it in the end!

For Halloween Breakfast we had ghost pancakes

and jack o lantern milk!

Then we got the big kids dressed and out the door to school.

Laiklyn had her music class that morning and they got to dress up.

I had 3 different costumes for her and all her events.

But when I gave her the choice all she wanted was Minnie Mouse again.

So that's just what we did.

And then she wouldn't stop running around for me to get a picture of her!

After music class we came home and had lunch then naps.

During naps I prepped for the rest of the festive day.

When Ryan and the big kids got home

we played outside in the finally cool weather

then had a festive dinner of...

jack o lantern mac n cheese

and jack o lantern quesadillas

with a side of jack o lantern cream soda!

Ryan was overly excited about his festive dinner! lol

Then we hurried and changed into costumes

and met up with neighbor friends.

The big kids were out the door so fast I still didn't manage to get a picture of them!!

We took the little girls and met up with our group of friends too.

The big kids and their friends were cruising a little too fast for us.

So we snagged Evelyn to ride with Laiklyn in the wagon and did our own rounds

before meeting back up with the bigger group.

while Evelyn watches Laiklyn refus to even turn towards the camera!

The Hill girls have it figured out now while the Taylor girls have a losing battle

about looking at the camera!

Laiklyn literally ate half her bucket of candy throughout the trick or treating adventure.

Evelyn just grasped her bucket tightly and didn't even touch a piece! lol

Laiklyn eventually realized you can't shove multiple chewy candies in your mouth at once.

Gagging, choking, almost throwing up while Mom's finger gets shoved in your mouth 

to dig out the gooey candy mound did eventually occur.

So at that point Ryan and Laiklyn split off and headed home

while Eastlie and I went with MaryAnn and Evelyn to meet up with the big kids.

Their group had grown throughout the night!

They had so much fun!

At 8pm I had to force them to come home!

The little girls got dumped in bed

and then the great candy sorting began!

And with that Ryan and I picked through each pile and took out our favorites! lol

Ryan decided to teach the kids an economics lesson on taxation.

We got 20% right off the top! :)
