Kick for the Cure Soccer Tourney

Date: Nov 12-13th

Taylee played in the
Kick for the Cure Tournament
last weekend.

They loved wearing their new pink gear
(socks, bows, wristbands, shoelaces)
to show their support for breast cancer awareness.

There were some really tough teams in this tourney!
They played hard but lost 2 games then won their last game.

The first game was at 7:30am in Scottsdale,  Ouch!
Yes before the sun was even up and shining!!
It was cloudy and breezy which means we were all chilly
(ok ok so it was probably still in the 70s! lol)

Sunrise Team Photo!
Taylee's the first one on the left
(in case her usual hand on popped out hip didn't give it away! lol)

We rushed from this game to
Brad's grandson Tre's baptism.
We literally changed in the car!

Brad spoke at the Baptism and did a great job.
We face timed Mom during it so that she could be a part of it too!
Then Taylee sang with the other siblings.

We had a few hours off in the afternoon
and then we were back in Scottsdale at the fields for game 2 at 4:30pm.
Yes again which means the sun was almost gone!

Sunday afternoon was their final game in Phoenix.
It was a gorgeous warm day.
Perfect for popsicles for the little siblings! lol

Oh and a gorgeous day for some soccer too! ;)

To top it off the girls won!!

Macy tackled Taylee with a congrats hug! lol

Post Game Chat and handing out Tournament Pins

This was a fun yet challenging tournament!
The girls had a great time!
And the best part was the purpose of the tournament.
All the team registration fees were donated to Cancer Research.

This especially hit a soft spot with us as my Mom is currently a brave cancer fighter
and that's the reason she wasn't able to come into town this weekend with Brad to visit us.
We were happy to compete in this tournament
and be a part of supporting all these strong women and men!
