We decided to make it a whole weekend of celebrating Father's Day!
First we went out to dinner on Friday night.
Ryan picked Dillon's Barbeque.

Then Saturday the kids and I planned to do some of Ryan's fave activities.
First we loaded up in and went shooting in the morning.
To our surprise the weather ended up being a little rainy and much cooler!
Ahhhh perfect!!!
I don't think I'll ever understand the love between a man and his guns.
But this man sure does love them!
Then we decided to go 4x4'ing through the desert!
Yes that's how we felt as Ryan plowed up and down mountains in his "man truck"!
We quickly learned to contain Eastlie in the bed of the truck!
The last thing I needed was someone accidentally shooting the wee one as she sprinted past them!
She sure did have fun in there at least! lol
Then when the big loud guns came up,
Laiky jumped in there with Eastlie to hide from the noise!
I don't think I'll ever understand the love between a man and his guns.
But this man sure does love them!
Taylee's turn.
She concentrated so hard...and had the worst form! lol
She was looking through the scope with the wrong eye and somehow couldn't find the target!
Gosh I love her.
Then Ryan took a pic of me shooting and oops I see where she got her bad form! haha
Laiky really liked the bb gun!

Anden did really well hitting the targets!
Here comes trouble!
No we really didn't let Eastlie shoot!
She just liked to pretend with the bb gun!
And we all survived without a bb to the eye!

We stopped and explored the surroundings
Then it was back home for naps.
While the littles were sleeping it started raining again.
Which meant we ran back outside to play in it!

Then a quick driving lesson for Anden through the neighborhood!
Nothing like starting out in a big ole truck!
He thought he was pretty cool though!
After that we went up to Rock Springs Cafe for dinner.
We love getting out of the city!

Which meant we ran back outside to play in it!

Which also meant I got talked into doing a handstand also.
Oddly I got very nervous to try one.
I was afraid my bones might shatter! lol
But oh Taylee to the rescue as she talked me into "helping flip me up"!
Ya it wasn't graceful at all!! haha
I was laughing so hard I couldn't even catch my breath!!
Good thing the live video photos wouldn't load
because it was a horrendous sight! haha
I guess I really am getting old.
But hey at least I didn't break a bone! lol

Good thing I had their rain boots still packed from this morning!
Oh Eastlie Bug you are so stinkin' adorable!
Maybe I should have clarified the "no drinking the water" rule!
Well Anden that kinda defeats the purpose of rain boots when you use them as buckets! lol
Anden always finds something creepy crawly!
Lollipops and laughing on the drive back to Anthem!
Such a fun family day!
Now to continue the Daddy Party tomorrow too!
