Idaho Summer Trip - June 1st

Date: June 1st, Day 7

We went up to Mom's house that morning.
It was our last full day in Idaho
so wanted to make sure and have some time with her and say our goodbyes.
It's always hard to say goodbye! :(

Today was also the cousin's last day of school, FINALLY!!
So we were more than anxious to snag them to play as soon as they got out.
Melanie met up with us at Mom's house and then we took Jeslynn and her friend Emma
back to Blackfoot with us.

The kids were thrilled to have a "farm" day with their cousins!!
It was a windy chilly day but that didn't stop them from nonstop fun!

Riding RZRs

Exploring the Fields

We had boat races (out of leaves) down the canal.
I did warn them not to get too close and fall in.
Jeslynn pushed it the furthest! lol

Feeding the horses

Anden's future modeling pose! lol

Visiting Grandma Norma

Then we stopped back at home to check on the napping littles.
Eastlie had just woken up.
She was thrilled to have some kitty time by herself!

Then when Laiky woke up we went to see the other horses.
She was super excited to meet the baby horse!

I was holding Eastlie on my hip while taking pictures.
This horse decided to try and nibble Eastlie! lol

That's the kind of reaction I have too when animals get too close to me! haha

Then the big kids finished their massive hide and seek game
and came to ride the horses with us!

But first Anden and Emma had to try out the whole hand sucking calf trick!

I finally released Eastlie from my grip.
She was dying to go explore on her own!

Laiky decided she wanted to ride the horse too...but only with Jeslynn!

It was calf feeding time!
Those are some BIG bottles! lol

I found a bucket and tipped it over for Eastlie to sit on.
Now maybe she'll stay still for 2 minutes!!

While the kids rode the horses,
Eastlie was happy to just throw rocks!

Finally we headed back home for dinner.
Grandma Norma joins us for dinner almost every night.
Eastlie just loved talking to her! lol
She yells her name so loud "GAMMA!!"

And then back outside for more and more playing until bedtime!

Such a fun action packed day!
