Sedona Fall Trip - Veteran's Day

Date: Nov 12th

The kids had the day off of school for Veteran's Day.
So I talked Ryan into ditching work and we took a little day adventure
to Sedona to see the Fall leaves!!
Of course that meant we also hauled the RZR for some fun too!

First up....frigid cold RZR ride!
I had looked up the forecast and saw it was a high of 50s.
But what I didn't take into account is the freezing cold winds
and that 50 degrees is actually ice weather for us wimps!! lol

The girlies all snuggled in the back to stay warm!

We were 2 mins into the ride when a weird sound came from the back tire.
Ryan just groaned when he thought it was a bad belt
(the one he had just fixed last week!!)
So we stopped and explored while he cursed talked at the RZR! lol

Yes I did have the kids move over so I could get a realistic shot of our adventure! haha

We found proof that even a Prickly Pear has a heart! :)

Ryan stilllll working away!

Finally Ryan concluded there was actually nothing wrong with the RZR at all.
It was just a rock or something in there rubbing a weird sound.
Uhhhh thanks for looking out for us anyway honey! ;)

So we all piled back in and kept on heading up the mountain!
When we reached the top I was so excited to show the big kids the view
(since they weren't with us last time on this trail)
We got out of the RZR and the wind chill about froze our bones! haha no joke!

Anden was brave enough for a few poses
while my fingers froze taking the pics!

I turned around and saw Eastlie!
OMG HAHAHA

We attempted a fam pic at the top.
Laiky was literally crying "I WANNA GO HOME!!" haha

And then Eastlie started crying too,
"I FREEZING!! I WANNA GO HOME!"

So we lasted about 5 mins at the top and ran back to the RZR to pile in for body warmth! lol

Taylee got to sit in the front this time!

Which meant Anden and the little girls kicked it in the back!

Back at the bottom of the mountain.
A tad bit warmer down there!

Then we loaded into the car and cranked the heat! lol
We pulled over for a quick lunch.
Then we drove down Oak Creek Canyon.
Always a beautiful sight, especially in the Fall!

The kids are always amazed at the huge size of these leaves!!

Ready...

Set....

Throw...

Channeling his inner Karate Kid

Oh Eastlie! lol You really do try and hang with the big kids!

And then it was back to Anthem we went!
I just love this family of mine and all of our adventures!!
