The Poop Patrol

Date: May 20-21st

We're still on the house sprucing up adventure!

This time it was dirty work,

like really disgusting dirty work.

The amount of pigeons and their feces under our solar panels

was getting completely out of control

So we hired the 

Poop Patrol

to clean up the crap factory and block the panels from having it happen again!

I had 4 companies come out and quote the job for us.

I was FLOORED out how much they charged! HOLY CRAP....literally!

We picked the one that had the 10 year warranty

and Ryan did his magic to talk him down in price.

Then they showed up in full craptastic gear and set to work!

This is the kind of money that isn't fun to spend. 

No pretty outcome to enjoy!

But we definitely needed to get it done once and for all!

So did you know that pigeon crap is toxic?!

Ya me neither!

Each time it rains it would come pouring off our roof and dump on our front sidewalk.

I just thought it was disgusting and brushed it up each time.

But oh no,

we were informed it's airborne toxic.

Lovely.

Maybe that explains why my kids.... lol jk

So the guys were up on the roof a full day hand picking the crap

and placing into totes.

I kid you not,

they brought down at least 15 huge totes full of CRAP!!

I was so embarrassed to say the least.

I just had to laugh, keep apologizing and sending them out drinks.

They did say this was by far in the top worst 3 jobs they've ever done.

I didn't know whether to take a bow or hide! haha

Well to really make it interesting,

a storm rolled in and poured and poured.

The little girls were looking out the backyard and screamed,

"MOMMY IT'S RAINING POOP!!"

HAHA it really did look like it!! (insert vomit here!)

I took some pics to text to Ryan

to inform him that the amount of money he saved off the quote

now needed to be returned to them in a tip! lol

And no, that's not rocks on my sidewalk...it's pigeon crap!

Oh and of course it's awesome to have rainstorms with the backyard torn up.

That was a fun muddy mess! ugh

While we were stuck inside from the rain,

Eastlie practiced her selfie taking skills!

Once the storm cleared it was back outside to play in our 2'x4' backyard playground! lol

The Poop Patrol worked SO hard!!

They were there ALL day for 2 days and were SO nice.

We finally loaded up to head to Laiky's preschool graduation.

We told them good bye and thanks for the great work.

When we got back from the graduation,

the poor guys were STILL on the roof working!!!

They apologized that it just was taking so much longer than usual.

They finished soon after and we invited them in for some pizza

for Laiky's graduation dinner! lol

There's always company at our house for dinner...even the Poop Patrol! haha
