Children's Museum of Phoenix

As part of our unpaid vacation #8 , we also went to the Children's Museum of Phoenix.

It was really cool and tons of fun for the kids. I've never been to a place that is 100% geared to children. Even the bathrooms had miniature toilets and sinks! (No, I didn't attempt to use either!) It's located in the old Monroe School Building downtown that was built in 1913. That, in itself, is impressive to see real architecture rather than the same old cookie cutter design everywhere else in the Valley.

This is an awesome place to visit with your little kids, especially during the scorching summers here! Nothing like A/C and some creative toys to keep everyone happy!

Here's some of the highlights...

The Kiddie Carwash

The Market and Cafe

The Pit Stop

The Under Threes Zone

Anden has asked several times over the past few days if he can go back to the museum. I have a feeling we have unfortunately misrepresented what a "museum" is. I'm sure his world will be crushed when he enters the Phoenix Museum of History next.

  1. Somehow the "Tators For Out-a-Staters" Potato Museum won't "cut the chives" for the Hubsters from now on!!
