Well this is definitely a new spot for a bruise.
Go figure,
the one time I forget my batting glove,
which provides an extra layer of protection under my mitt,
I catch a nasty hopping grounder
which immediately broke a blood vessel in my hand and swelled right up.
So now I have a permanent dirty hand.
