Surprise Lake Trip

Anden has been begging to go to the lake since we got back from Powell.

We had planned to go while the Gravens were here.

But Mother Nature didn't cooperate.

He then begged again on Sunday.

And Monday.

Monday night as I was putting him to bed he whimpered how

we NEVER go to the lake!

Really kid?!  

It had only been 2 wks since we spent 4 days at the lake! lol

Well Ryan was able to rearrange his schedule on Tuesday.

So we rushed home early and got the boat ready.

Then I picked up Anden & Grace from school

and surprised them with a random weekday lake trip!

They were literally screaming and jumping for joy! lol

We threw their swim gear on and off we went.

Anden had asked since the second he found out at school if he could be first!

So the girls took a dip to cool off while he saddled up.

Then it was Ryan's turn.

 

Then the pint size peer pressurers even got me out there!

Bringing back the middle school skills! lol

I consider it a good run if I don't get my hair wet!

Regardless if it's skiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding or tubing! :) 

Next up:

Wakeboarding

(and I actually got proof this time!!!)

SOOO proud of Anden!

Taylee kneeboarded but decided she would rather tube than wakeboard today.

Actually she just wanted to play with Grace and eat snacks instead!

When Anden finally was done wakeboarding,

we let the tubing begin!!

(I'll admit I felt horribly guilty tearing up rare glass water for tubing!!)

These 3 kiddos are nuts together! lol

Before we knew it the sun was starting to set.

So sadly we had to head back to the dock.

The kids were tubing on the way back.

Finally I made my only demand, 

"HOLD UP! Forget the tubing!  I'm actually gonna ski back on this glass water!"

Ahhh nothing like a good run skiing when you have perfect water!

I guess Tuesday evenings are the time to hit up the lake!
