Furniss Family Lake Day

Date: March 28th

Today we hit up the lake

for some awesome family time!

Grandma Furniss, Uncle Jordan and Aunt Bree

were here in town to enjoy it with us!

It was an absolutely gorgeous day!

Lots of sunshine, soft breeze, calm waters

and tons of laughter!

We did start off with a hiccup
or really more a screaming noise when the boat started.
But after some tweaks
and then a call to the mechanic.
We quickly solved the problem

Now on to enjoying the day without piercing our ears!

Anden wanted to kneeboard first

Which meant Taylee went next

Next Jordan brushed off the dust and wakeboarded

Which meant I also had to brush off the dust

and give it a whirl

After a few good wrecks I decided to stop while I was ahead.

So Ryan took over wakeboarding

and then Jordan brought back kneeboarding!

Finally we made our way to our fave cove

and anchored for lunch and relaxation!

We brought a floating island to chill on.

The kids loved it.

 

The kids had been begging to tube.

So we finally got it out and threw them and Grandma to the wolves! :)

Then it was Jordan and Bree's turn.

Ryan didn't take it easy on them!!

We eventually tossed Taylee in with them.

She likes a crazy ride too!

Finally we swapped in Anden and Ryan

while I took over as driver.

Yes they looked like this the entire time! lol

They got some huge air on waves

but it's a tad hard (and  maybe unsafe) to be the driver and photographer! lol

Luckily Grandma snuggled Laiklyn the entire time

The day was winding down

Jordan and Ryan both decided to wakeboard one last time.

Both guys wrecked hard

and realized they should have quit while they were ahead.

Then we loaded the boat up
