Laiklyn Turns ONE!!

Date: August 12th

Wow she's already

ONE YEAR OLD!!!

It's been a whirlwind of a year

and definitely flew by faster than I could have imagined!!

We celebrated in the morning with presents and playing!

The older kiddos had as much fun (ok maybe more) as Laiklyn opening her gifts!

Sprint to the presents!

My side of the family aren't local

so she got all sorts of fun presents in the mail as well!

The older kids were so excited to give her their gift!

We carefully "wrapped" it the night before!

She loves chilling in her car

and wants someone to push her at all times! lol

Then we made our way to the garage

to see what Mommy & Daddy had waiting for her!

(yes I might have suddenly had nightmares of her expecting the same bigger version on her 16th bday! lol)

She might have been more interested in the bow at first! ha

While the girls checked it out

Anden decided to test out Taylee's old quad!

Laiklyn is too small to drive her jeep
but never fear because she has older siblings
more than happy to chauffeur her!

Anden was just as giddy to drive her around as Taylee was! 

Laiklyn was loving being a big kid with the big kids!

We finally hurried back inside to get ready for school and work

and eat a quick breakfast!

Then we walked the big kids to school

and off we headed to work.

But the fun wasn't done!
After work we played more.
It was super hot as usual so we headed to the splash pad

I just can't resist those chubby legs!

The water was really adding to her runny nose.

She turned around at one point and I didn't know whether to laugh

or um hail Hitler?

Ya I quickly wiped away those leaves!

Then we headed out to dinner!
She's always the hit of anywhere we go!

Hooray!  I'm ONE!
