Little Miss Sunshine was still getting her beauty sleep on
when the guests started to arrive.
I finally had to go wake her up
to get her dolled up and ready.
She was mighty excited when she made her grand entrance!
She has her best humbled and surprised "What?! A Party for me?!" look.
(or maybe it's the "I'm still tired, I have 3 molars coming in & why are all these people here" look)
Everyone wanted a piece of her attention!
We ate lunch, chatted, laughed and watched Laiklyn cruise around.
Photo Booth
The photo booth was quite the hit!
Especially with the girls!
They kept dressing up and asking me to take their picture most of the party!
And yes even Ryan and I gave our best sunny smiles!
I busted Laiklyn sneaking into the presents!
She did try and run away with one gift!
So we figured it was time to gather the troops
and officially start present opening time!
Back to playing..
but with new toys now!!
Finally it was
CAKE TIME!
Taylee and I were pretty proud of ourselves
for making this adorable smash cake!
Too bad that's all it was for...to ruin! lol
Laiklyn was a little unsure of the whole thing!
She loved the fire though!
And luckily Daddy snatched her hand
right before she snatched the fire!
Then it was a slow exploration of the sunshine cake!
I figured by putting tentacles poking out of it
that it would at least intrigue her to touch it!
And that worked!
She went for the mini cones first!
She was super excited to show Mommy & Daddy what she found
Finally Ryan showed her how to grab a fistful
Mmm strawberry cake!
Anden got a little close and got swiped by frosting.
But doesn't appear it bothered him!
She decided to share with Taylee...
right in the face!
You want some too?!
Then she discovered the Junior Mint face
and gobbled down almost every one of them!
She just kept trying to feed me her cake.
Ok twist my arm I'll try a smashed junior mint!
We decided she had enough
and started the long process of clean up!!
It took 3 adults to wrangle her o get her washed! lol
All clean!
Licking for more under my fingernails!
Then it was Sundae Bar for all
and back to playing!
Laiklyn amped it up a notch with that sugar dose!
I couldn't figure out why she kept crawling under the table.
Ahh she found her own popcorn bar down there!
